WITHIN Y: Video Footage From Recording Studio Posted Online

Swedish melodic death metal band WITHIN Y has posted video footage of some of the early recording sessions for its third album, due in early 2008. A three-minute clip covering the drum recordings can be viewed below.

Commented the group: "Erik [Hagström] has done an amazing job with the drums. It really sounds badass!"

WITHIN Y has uploaded the demo version of a new song, entitled "Facing Reality", on its MySpace page. The track is expected to appear on the group's upcoming third album.

WITHIN Y in April recruited Erik Hagström as the replacement for Thim Blom (ex-GARDENIAN).

Blom left the group in December 2006, claiming that "pain in [his wrists]" made it impossible for him to "perform at the top of [his] abillity and to do what it takes to play at this level."

WITHIN Y's sophomore album, "Portraying Dead Dreams", was released in Sweden in the spring of 2006 via the Gothenburg-based label Gain.
